Publish Open Access with Q Open

The European Association of Agricultural Economists (and it publication arm the EAAEP Foundation) have taken up the challenge of publishing in open access with a new journal that follows  a ‘sound science’ approach. We see a move to journals that specialize in open access. We also notice that  the current journals reject many papers that are sound science but not always novel in their methodology. Together with Oxford University Press we have therefore created a new journal: Q Open.

Q Open is an innovative open-access journal, publishing applied research across agricultural, climate, environmental, food, resource, and rural development economics. The title is inspired by the Q category of the Journal of Economic Literature’s subject classification system.

There is a dedicated team of experienced editors, coordinated by Iain Fraser, that welcomes your papers and has a fast peer-review procedure aiming to provide a first decision within 4-6 weeks.
