EuroChoices aims to provide helpful, objective, economics-based information on important agri-food and rural resource issues to government agencies, agribusinesses, NGOs, and the interested general public. And it aims to do so in an attractive and user-friendly format.
Please do keep EuroChoices in mind as a place to publish the results of your research, or your carefully considered views on agri-food and rural resource issues. We have tried hard to make EuroChoices a Pan European publication, and encourage articles from a wide geographic area.
EuroChoices Special Issue on Brexit and the Agri-Food Sector
The UK referendum on EU membership took place on 23 June 2016. The Common Agricultural Policy is a key EU policy programme and the EuroChoices Editorial team felt it was important to examine objectively and in some depth the implications for the UK and EU agri-food sectors should the UK vote to leave (Brexit). Under Guest Editor Alan Swinbank five articles from authors in the UK and other European countries look at the possible production, farm income, trade, budgetary and governance impacts of Brexit. The articles can be accessed free for registered AES and EAAE members on the Wiley website at: www.wileyonlinelibrary.com/journal/euch
